For the leaders of founder-led and family-run businesses

Your business runs on people. We help it run on systems, without losing the people.

PPS Consulting India is an operations transformation firm for founder-led and family-run businesses. We start with the result you need most, such as faster growth, a smooth handover or an ERP that finally works, and turn it into one plan with a weekly rhythm.

A small Project Management Office (PMO) keeps that plan on track. Our founders lead the work, with specialists as needed, and we stay until your own team runs it. Based in India, with a global practice since 2018.

Which of these is you?

  • Everything still goes through you

Critical knowledge sits in a few heads. Decisions queue at one desk. Nothing is wrong until someone is on leave.

Six months. By week four: the first decisions off your desk, with written limits.

  • Growth has outrun the way work gets done

Handoffs, approvals, visibility, hiring, cash cycle. They break in that order.

Six months. By week four: the main flow mapped, every handoff owned, the first one fixed.

  • You're taking over the family business

The company lives in people's heads, some of them have been here longer than you, and the founder is still in the building.

The successor's route: three to six months. It starts with your handover map, built privately with you.

  • Big projects stall halfway

A new ERP, a second site, a new market. All under way, all waiting on the same few people, all running late.

Three to six months, to go-live. By week four: every project on one plan, reviewed every week.

  • You bought the tool. Adoption stalled.

ClickUp, Zoho, an ERP. Configured like the demo, owned by nobody, abandoned by month three.

Three months, after go-live. By week four: one job running in the tool, with an owner.

  • You advise the owners

You're a family office, a wealth adviser, a CA or a board member, and a client needs a hands-on operations partner you can safely recommend.

Not sure which, or more than one? The first four weeks cover it.

What we fix, problem by problem

Who will you work with?

The founders lead every engagement and stay accountable for the outcome. Associate consultants and specialists join as the work needs them, with sector experience where it matters, and the team that runs the system after we leave is built inside your business.

How do we help? We stay until your own team runs it.

Three kinds of work, done inside your business, with your people.

  • Transformation PMO

A small team that keeps every initiative on one plan, tracks decisions and risks, and reports to leadership every week.

  • Operational governance

Who decides what, the meetings that keep work moving and the numbers leadership reviews, so the business keeps moving when you're away.

  • Process systems

Workflows and SOPs your people use every day, in the tools you already have or ones we help you choose, with automation and AI where they take cost out.

What it leaves in your business

  • The one-page picture

Where the business depends on a few people, on one page.

  • Your Keep list

What must not change, written down before anything does.

  • Where your time goes, today and next

The owner's week in hours, today and by the end of the plan.

  • The handover kit

Role charters, SOPs and trained people, so it runs without us.

What happens after you book a call?

  1. The call: 30 minutes, free

Tell us in the booking form what you're aiming for and what's getting in the way. Rahul goes through it with you. If there's no fit, we'll say so.

  2. The first four weeks: the PPS Backbone Review

We start with the four questions from our book, The 4Sync Method, and focus on the problem you came with. By week four one fix is working, and you have your Keep list and the plan.

Fixed fee: ₹1,50,000 to ₹3,50,000 plus GST and expenses, by the size of the business.

    What's included
  3. The plan: three to six months in all

The four weeks are its first month. We build the rest with your people, inside your tools. Our days in the business fall each month as your team takes over, and the fee falls with them.

  4. Handover

Your team passes the plan's handover test and runs it without us. Then we step back.

A six-month plan, as an example: our days in your business fall from 12 in the first month to 4 in the last, and the weekly review moves from us to your team. Fees follow the days.

You can stop after the first four weeks, or at the end of any month with 30 days' notice, and you keep everything we built. Fees cover our time. Travel, stay and meals for in-person work are paid by the client at actual cost, wherever it takes place. International engagements quoted in USD.

What changes when your business runs on systems?

  • Predictability

One plan, one weekly rhythm, and decisions that no longer queue at one desk.

  • Profitability

Less rework, cleaner handoffs, and one set of numbers everyone trusts.

  • Sustainability

A way of working your own people keep running after we leave.

That is what PPS stands for.

Seven questions people ask before they call

What does PPS Consulting India do?

We help founder-led and family-run businesses run on systems without losing the culture, speed and flexibility that built them, and we stay until your own team runs it. We start with the result the owner needs most, turn it into one plan with a weekly rhythm, set up a small Project Management Office (PMO) to run it, redesign workflows and SOPs, get the tools the business already bought into daily use, and build the internal team that keeps it going after we leave.

Why does a business need a Project Management Office (PMO)?

Because goals slip when nobody owns the whole picture. A Project Management Office (PMO) is a small team that keeps every initiative on one plan, tracks decisions and risks, and reports to leadership every week. It starts with the goal you care about and should leave your own people running it. Read the full answer: Why Does a Business Need a Project Management Office (PMO)?

How do we start?

Book a free 30-minute call with Rahul Kulkarni and send us two things: what you're trying to achieve in the next 90 days, and what's breaking in execution. We'll tell you plainly what we'd fix first, before you've spent anything. If there's a fit, we start with the PPS Backbone Review: four weeks, focused on the problem you came with, with one fix working by the end. A successor who can't make the change openly yet starts more quietly, with the successor's route.

What does it cost?

The call is free. The PPS Backbone Review, our four-week first step, has a fixed fee of ₹1,50,000 to ₹3,50,000 plus GST and expenses, depending on the size of the business, and it counts as the first month of the plan. A plan runs three to six months and typically costs from about ₹6 lakh to ₹20 lakh in all, the first four weeks included, plus GST and expenses, depending on the size and complexity of the business. Fees step down as your team takes over. International engagements quoted in USD.

Will you just hand us a report?

No. The first four weeks end with one fix working in your business, and the rest of the plan is built with your people, inside your tools, until your team passes the handover test the plan sets.

Do you have experience in my industry?

Sometimes. We have worked in sixteen kinds of business so far, and where yours isn't one of them, we say so on the first call. We close the gap two ways: two weeks of immersion at the start, and sector-experienced people on the project team where it matters. What we bring every time is the method and the discipline to make it stick.

Do you only work with businesses in India?

No. We are based in Thane and most of our current engagements are in India, but the practice began internationally in 2018 and we continue to work with clients in North America, Europe, Africa, the GCC, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, remotely and on site where it matters.
